Any podcast app that supports custom RSS feeds works — including Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Castro, Spotify (via RSS import), YouTube Music, and more. With a Pro account, you get a private RSS feed URL that you paste directly into your app of choice. No special app required.
How long does processing take?
Most episodes finish processing in 2–5 minutes. Longer episodes (2+ hours) can take up to 10 minutes. Once processed, the ad-free version is cached permanently — so if someone else has already listened to the same episode, it's instant for you. Pro subscribers get priority in the processing queue.
Does it work with every podcast?
We support any podcast with a public RSS feed, which covers the vast majority of shows. Private or subscription-only podcasts (e.g. Patreon exclusives) are not supported. If you can find a podcast in Apple Podcasts or Spotify, it almost certainly works with AdFree.fm.
Do I need an account to get started?
